These terms govern your use of Reply Required (the "app"). By using the app, you agree to them.

Family use

Reply Required is for families: parents or guardians and the children in their care. A parent creates the family and adds each child. Use it to reach your own family, not to pressure or oversee anyone who hasn't agreed to it, and never to pause another adult's apps without their consent.

A parent is responsible for a child's account

A child's account exists only because a parent created it. The parent who adds a child is responsible for that account: for giving the child the code to join, for choosing with the child which apps pause, for how the app is used with them, and for removing them when it's time. Keep the parent passcode to yourself.

Don't misuse the app

Don't use the app to break the law, harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt, get around or reverse-engineer the service. Keep messages respectful. There is no tolerance for abusive or objectionable content or behavior. You can report a message or block someone from inside the app; reports go to the family's organizer and to the developer. We may remove content or accounts that break these terms.

Your content

The messages and tasks you write are yours. You grant Reply Required the limited permission needed to store, display and deliver them so the app can work, for example showing your message to your family. We don't claim ownership of your content. What family members can see is described in the privacy policy.

Pausing apps

Pausing apps relies on Apple's Screen Time features and on the child's phone being online. It is a way to get a reply, not a guarantee: a message may arrive late, and apps may not pause or come back exactly when expected. Don't rely on the app in an emergency; call or text directly.

Third-party services

The app relies on Apple (Sign in with Apple, Screen Time, push notifications) and Google (Firebase, Google Sign-In). Your use of those features is also subject to their terms. A parent's account is a Pliske ID, shared with this developer's other apps.

Availability

Reply Required is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued. We make no warranties about uptime, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reply Required and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including a message that wasn't delivered or seen, or apps that did or didn't pause.

Termination

A parent may stop using the app and delete their account at any time from Account, then Delete account. We may suspend or end access that breaks these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Missouri.
